ECC BUDAPEST 2022: GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE – AN INCREDIBLE SUCCESS OF THE UKRAINIAN SWORD IN THE HUNGARIAN CAPITAL !
A full set of awards was awarded to the Ukrainian national team on the first day of the European Cadet cycle stage in sword fencing, which takes place in Budapest. Two Ukrainian athletes immediately took the podium in the individual championship, which brought together 292 participants from 30 countries: Denis Lavrentiev took the first place, Maxim Perchuk took the third. Our girls Emily Konrad, Tamara Sych, Anna Maksimenko, Ekaterina Dzyuban stopped in the team competitions in one shot from gold, losing in a dramatic fight in the final to the hosts of the tournament from Hungary (39:40). Therefore, they have silver !

First All-Polish rating competitions, September 23-25, Sledge
“Hat-trick” was made by Ukrainian short trekkers at a distance of 1500 meters among seniors!
Timofey Khokhelko won, Yaroslav Morozov became the second, and Daniil Fedorenko took the third place !

Ksenia Adamenko is third in the 500-meter Seniorok race.
Elizaveta Siderko received a penalty in the final, but in the end has the fifth place, Diana Mikhalchuk – ninth, Ulyana Dubrova – 12th, Alexandra Shapran-21st, Anna Kucheruk – 24th.

Elizaveta Sidjorko won the 1000-meter Seniorok race. Thus, Elizabeth takes second place in the overall standings.

Ksenia Adamenko finished sixth in the overall standings, Ulyana Dubrova – seventh, Diana Mikhalchuk – 15th, Alexandra Shapran-18th, Anna Kucheruk – 23rd.

2022 CMAS Freediving Outdoor World Championship Day 3-CNF (constant weight without fins).
Ekaterina Sadurskaya won another medal of the highest hardening in the CNF – 70 m exercise. this is a repeat of the national record and first place at the CMAS 2022 World deep freediving championships! Congratulations, Katya!

From September 27 to October 4, the most prestigious boxing competitions of the continent among juniors and juniors — the European Championship-were held in the Italian city of Montezilvano. The first medal of the Ukrainian national judo team at the World Championships in Tashkent!
18-year-old Dnipro resident Elizaveta Litvinenko won the bronze medal in the weight category up to 78 kg.
In the match for the third place, the Ukrainian met with the Olympic champion-2020, Japanese Shori Hamada and already at 23 seconds won a clean victory — she received an ippon rating, thanks to the Sasae-tsurikomi-ashi reception.

Irina Malovichko, a representative of bench shooting, opened the face of Ukrainian “passes” for the Summer Olympics in Paris.
At the world championships in Osijek, Croatia, four Olympic quotas were awarded, one each for a representative of one country. The 28-year-old Odessa woman took fifth place in the skit exercise, but she was lucky: the silver medalist, British Amber Hill, has already qualified for the Olympics at the European Championships, which means that one of the four unnamed licenses automatically went to Irina Malovichko.
Irina Malovichko-vice-champion of Europe-2017 in the team tournament, at the Olympic Games-2020 showed the eighth result in qualifying and did not get into the top six participants of the final.
The Summer Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
